About The Church

Our Mission

The Church's mission is to educate the masses, distribute goodies, and have fun. We do not preach hating of anyone other than the antimarvin, Ticketmaster. We are a peaceful group; after all, if you're dumb enough to like "Math Sux" we see no point in hitting you with a 2x4 and killing what few neurons are still gasping for oxygen.

Church Members

This Church has no real direction. There's no true ordained leader. Mike Hall was the original webmaster, creating a site for USEnet groupies who shared similar feelings regarding Jimmy's career. The head webmaster, Chris Wilson, is a resident physician in Indianapolis who took care of the site in 1995. His wife, Kim, helps out quite a bit with the web site. Countless other people have contributed and continue to contribute to the Church. They are listed in the rectory. Membership to the Church is free and open. If you want to join, please consider donating a small amount of money to a charity.

Jimmy's Early Daze

As The Church strongly believes JB did his best work early in his career (see our creed), we have chronicled his early recording life in Early Daze. We're always looking for additional information and writers to help us fill out this section.

Marvin Gardens, Our Patron Saint

Yes Virginia, there truly is a Marvin Gardens. Though he's never been tried for attempted murder, one has to ponder whether Jimmy should be tried for disappearance of Marvin. From time to time fans spot him under unassuming names like Freddie and the Fishsticks; however these reports are sadly few and far between. Nessie may be sighted more often.
