We've re-engineered the CoB,O to make it easier and more enjoyable for us (and hopefully you) to visit the site. For awhile, both the old and new pages will run simultaneously, however the "old style" CoB,O won't be updated. Eventually the "old style" will disappear...

You can visit the new CoB,O at http://www.cobo.org/index.php

Steve Goodman

Steve Goodman was an original CRB member during the early 70s. He wrote "This Hotel Room" and "Banana Republics" among other Buffett songs. His lryics are both witty and amazingly touching at times, and his acoustic guitar playing is awesome. If you like early Buffett and/or folk music, you'll like Steve. I highly recommend No Big Surprise, a 2 CD set that has studio and live discs. It's Steve at his finest, and I don't know anyone who hasn't become a convert who has heard it.

Jerry Jeff Walker

Jerry Jeff and Jimmy drove to Key West in Jerry Jeff's 1949 Packard, and the rest is history. Jerry Jeff co-wrote "Railroad Lady" and has played with Jimmy on several occasions. He is a country-rocker Texas style. I strongly recommend Jerry Jeff's latest album, Cowboy Boots & Bathing Suits, recorded in Belize, and has a tropical flair like Buffett.

Greg "Fingers" Taylor

Fingers has been wailing on the harp for Jimmy since 1973. On his bluesy solo efforts, he shines like the great bluesman he is. If you like either blues or harmonica playing, you'll love Fingers.

Harpoon Man $16.99
Old Rock N Roller $14.49
New Fingerprints $29.99

Todd Snider

Todd Snider is a folksy country-rocker, molded from influences ranging from Jerry Jeff Walker to Kris Kristofferson to Jimmy Buffett. If witty lyrics with a flair for the unabashed suit you, check out Todd. He's one of my personal favorites. If you lean more towards country and folk, check out Songs From The Daily Planet. If you like rock, his latest release Viva Satellite will have you grooving along. Looking for a nice mix? Try Step Right Up. However, I feel you can't go wrong with any of them.

Songs From The Daily Planet $14.49
Step Right Up $13.99
Viva Satellite $12.99

Marshall Chapman

Marshall is a former reefer who sounds a bit like Sheryl Crow. She opened for Jimmy a couple years ago. I recommend It's About Time, recorded live in a women's prison.

Love Slave $13.99

Iguanas

The Iguanas were signed to Margaritaville Records awhile back. They play a Mexican/blues rock that will have you swinging along.

Club Trini

CRB members Michael Utley and Robert Greenidge excel on this tropical instrumental album. They played numerous selections before shows from the '97 Havana Daydreamin' Tour. If you like the steel drum sound, you'll love Club Trini.
