Nancy Goodman went to Provio East High School in Maywood, the same school as John Prine, in fact they share dthe same homeroom. Many years later, when Steve introduced Nancy to John, John informed her that he already knew her from high school, and admitted that he actually privately lusted after her all those many years ago.
Nancy's response was cold blooded. She informed John that she had no recollection of him what so ever.
Thus a new friendship was born.
