Jim Rothermel

Steve had a habit of finding some of the best musicians
you never heard of and
using them on his albums.
Jim Rothermel is a case in point. Today,
Jim mostly plays jazz/swing but he is adept at
a variety of musical styles. He co-wrote
a few songs with Steve to include "Banana Republics"
and also performed session work on the following albums:
- Words We Can Dance To 1976
- High and Outside 1979
- Hot Spot 1980
- Affordable Art 1983
- Santa Ana Winds 1984
Jim was also the leader of the Lincoln Park Pirates on the
A Tribute To Steve Goodman double LP/CD.
