The Times Daily of Northwest Alabama has a nice profile of Mac McAnally in McAnally to perform hometown concert.

Radio Margaritaville, in conjunction with Little Flock Music, will be broadcasting live from St Louis' historic Sheldon Theatre, Peter Mayer's "Stars & Promises" Christmas show. The December 13th show features the Peter Mayer Group and special guests Mark Holland on Native American flute and Ron Vince on violin. The show will held at 7:00 pm CST (8:00 pm).

Sunday night, Jack Nicholson was one of five performers awarded the Kennedy Center Honors for a lifetime of contributions to arts and culture. Jimmy Buffett, who led the toast to Nicholson, described his good friend's passions outside of work, noting that Nicholson is the best deejay for a party. In describing Nicholson's achievements, Buffett said with a grin, "But of course, there are the women. Most great women of our time have been passionate one way or another about Jack Nicholson." Radio Margaritaville will be broadcasting The Peter Mayer Group live from the Atlanta Fox Theatre's Egyptian Ballroom on Sunday, December 2, 2001. The broadcast will feature Peter and the band, along with James "Sunny Jim" White and Hugo Duarte who will be performing at the Atlanta Parrothead Club's Christmas Charity event to benefit, "My House." In addition, RM's Steve Huntington will be recording an interview with Peter which will be broadcast at a later date.
